The material combines good mechanical strength, wear resistance and toughness, and is therefore used for, among other things, bushings, wheels, rollers, guides and other machine parts.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/scanco.no\/en\/butikk\/produkter\/teknisk-plast-halvfabrikat-og-maskinerte-deler\/pa6\/\">PA6<\/a> also referred to as <strong>polyamide 6<\/strong> or <strong>nylon 6<\/strong>, and is delivered as semi-finished products in, among other things, plates, rods and blanks for further machining.<\/p><p>But <a href=\"https:\/\/scanco.no\/en\/butikk\/produkter\/teknisk-plast-halvfabrikat-og-maskinerte-deler\/pa6\/\">PA6<\/a> also has properties that must be taken into account when choosing materials \u2013 especially moisture absorption. This can affect both dimensions and mechanical properties.
