The material has good sliding and damping properties and is therefore well suited for a variety of moving machine components.<\/p>\n<p>PA6 absorbs more moisture than POM-C, among others. The moisture content can affect both dimensions and mechanical properties, and this should be taken into account when choosing materials and designing components with tight tolerances.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scanco.no\/en\/pa6-plast-egenskaper-bruksomrader\/\">Read more about the properties and uses of PA6 plastic<\/a>, and when the material should be chosen over POM-C or PEHD1000.<\/p>\n<h2>Machined parts in PA6<\/h2>\n<p>PA6 is used for, among other things, bushings, bearings, slide rails, guides, rollers, gears and other machine components where wear resistance and mechanical load are important properties.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scanco.no\/en\/cnc-maskinering\/\">Scanco can supply CNC machined parts in PA6<\/a> according to drawing or 3D model, both as individual components and series. The machining is carried out in our own workshop. If you do not have a drawing or 3D model, we can also <a href=\"https:\/\/scanco.no\/en\/3d-scanning\/\">3D scanning and reverse engineering<\/a> existing components.<\/p>\n<h2>Semi-finished product<\/h2>\n<p>We supply PA6 as semi-finished products in various dimensions and designs.
