Scancot TriboTex 7 is a fiber-reinforced composite material developed for bearings, bushings and sliding components in industrial applications. The material combines good mechanical properties with low friction and can be adapted to different operating conditions through the choice of material variant and additives.

Composite bearings for industrial applications

TriboTex 7 is a versatile bearing material that can be used in a variety of industrial applications. The material is particularly relevant where wear resistance, low friction and stable mechanical properties are required.

Typical applications include plain bearings, bushings, guides, wear components and other machine parts with sliding contact.

Adapted to different operating conditions

TriboTex 7 is available in different variants depending on the application and operating environment. The material's properties can be adapted through the choice of additives, including for applications with different requirements for friction, lubrication and the environment.

This makes TriboTex 7 suitable for both general industrial bearing applications and more specialized solutions where traditional bearing or sliding materials are not optimal.

Machined bearings and bushings in TriboTex 7

Scanco can deliver ready-machined bearings, bushings, guides and special components in Scancot TriboTex 7 according to drawing or 3D model.

The machining is carried out in our own workshop, so that we can deliver both material and finished components adapted to dimensions and the current application.
