Brake bands, clutch linings and brake discs
We supply friction materials for winches, cranes, elevators, machines and other industrial equipment. The materials are available in different qualities, thicknesses and designs depending on load and application.
Brake bands and clutch linings can be supplied as material for the customer's own assembly or customized to dimensions and specifications.
Brake and Clutch Rehabilitation for Industry
Scanco also performs rehabilitation (relining) of brake shoes, brake arches and clutches. Old friction lining is removed and the surface cleaned before new lining is installed. Depending on the component and type of lining, the new lining can be vulcanized, riveted or screwed in place.
If necessary, we can also supply new brake shoes and brake arches as well as produce new bearings if existing components are worn out.
Materials for self-assembly
For customers who do the work themselves, we supply brake bands and clutch linings, including rollers and plates. We can also supply the necessary solvent and glue, as well as screws and rivets for assembly.
