PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance engineering plastic with very good mechanical properties, high temperature resistance and good chemical resistance. The material is used for demanding components where common engineering plastics do not provide sufficient performance.
Properties and uses
PEEK combines high mechanical strength and stiffness with good wear resistance and dimensional stability. The material retains good mechanical properties at high temperatures and has good resistance to many chemicals.
PEEK is therefore used in demanding industrial, offshore and maritime applications, including bearings, bushings, sealing components, guides, insulating components and other machine parts that are exposed to temperature, load or aggressive operating environments.
Machined parts in PEEK
Scanco can supply CNC machined parts in PEEK according to drawing or 3D model. The material is suitable for precision components and can be machined into complex geometries and components with tight tolerances.
We produce both individual components and series in our own workshop.
