PEHD 1000 (PE 1000 / UHMW-PE) is a durable technical plastic with very low friction, high impact resistance and good chemical resistance. The material is widely used for components exposed to wear, impact and sliding contact in industrial and maritime applications.
Properties and uses
PEHD 1000 has very good wear and sliding properties and a low level of friction. The material also has high impact resistance and good resistance to many chemicals.
The combination of low friction and high wear resistance makes the material well suited for applications such as slide rails, guides, wear plates, bushings and other components with sliding or mechanical loads.

Machined parts in PEHD 1000
Scanco can supply CNC machined parts in PEHD 1000 according to drawing or 3D model. The material can be machined into, among other things, slide rails, wear plates, guides, bushings and special components.
We produce both individual components and series in our own workshop. If you don't have a drawing or 3D model, we can also 3D scan and reverse engineer existing components.
Semi-finished product
We supply PEHD 1000 as a semi-finished product in various dimensions and designs. The material is also known as PE 1000, UHMW-PE and UHMWPE. Please contact us if you need material for your own production or finished machined components.
