3D scanning and reverse engineering for industry
Scanco offers professional 3D scanning for digitization, reverse engineering, dimensional inspection and documentation of existing components. With advanced scanning equipment, we can record both small details and larger objects and establish an accurate digital basis for 3D modeling, drawings and further production.
Reverse engineering
We digitize existing components and use scan data as the basis for new 3D models and production data.
High-precision 3D scanning
Advanced scanning equipment makes it possible to record complex geometries and details with high accuracy, with stated precision down to 0.02 mm.
3D models and drawings
Scan data can be further processed into 3D models and technical data for documentation, further development or production.
From existing part to new component
We can combine 3D scanning and reverse engineering with CNC machining or 3D printing for the production of new components.

Professional 3D scanning
Scanco offers professional 3D scanning of components and objects for surveying, documentation, reverse engineering and product development. We use advanced scanning equipment that can record both small details and larger geometries with high accuracy.
Our handheld laser scanner uses multi-line technology and associated software to efficiently capture detailed 3D data. Depending on the object, surface and scanning method, we can achieve precision down to 0.02 mm.
Reverse engineering of existing components
If you lack a drawing or 3D model of an existing component, we can use 3D scanning and reverse engineering to establish a new digital production basis.
The existing part is scanned and the geometry is further processed into a CAD model that can be used as a basis for technical drawings, further design or production. This is particularly useful for spare parts, older components and special parts where original production data is no longer available.

From scanning to finished component
Scanco can assist throughout the entire process from existing component or idea to digital model and finished manufactured part. Scan data can be processed into production data and used further for, among other things CNC machining or 3D printing.
This makes it possible to combine digitization, reverse engineering and production with one supplier.
3D Modelling
Based on scan data, existing components or the customer's own specifications, we can create detailed 3D models. The models can be used as a basis for technical drawings, further design, documentation, simulation and production.

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified
Scanco AS is certified according to NS-EN ISO 9001:2015 and NS-EN ISO 14001:2015. This provides our industrial customers with documented management systems for quality and the environment through our deliveries.
