PUR Polyurethane

• Very good wear resistance
• Available in different hardnesses
• Good elastic properties
• Good resistance to shock and mechanical stress
• Suitable for rollers, wheels, dampers and wear parts

PUR (polyurethane) is a durable material that combines high resistance to wear with good elastic and mechanical properties. The material can be supplied in different hardnesses and is used for industrial components that are exposed to wear, shock and mechanical stress.

Properties and uses

Polyurethane has very good wear resistance and can combine elasticity with high mechanical load capacity. The properties vary with quality and hardness, so that the material can be adapted to different applications.

PUR is used for, among other things, rollers, wheels, dampers, wear parts, wipers and other components where wear resistance, elasticity and resistance to mechanical stress are important.

Machined parts in PUR

Scanco can supply machined parts in PUR according to drawing or 3D model. Depending on the component, hardness and geometry, the material can be processed into, among other things, rollers, bushings, wear parts and special components.

We supply both individual components and series for industrial and maritime applications.

PUR semi-finished product

We supply PUR as semi-finished products in different dimensions, designs and hardnesses. Please contact us with information about your application and desired properties, and we can help you choose the right quality.
